Investigators believe that a series of six bank robberies (listed below) beginning in October 2007, may have been committed by the same person(s). The subject has been described as (images below):
Sex: Male Race: Hispanic or Native American Age: Approximately 35-45 years old Hair: Dark Brown or Black Height: 5’6” – 5’7” Build: Thin Complexion: Medium to Dark
The robber has also been described as having highly pronounced cheek bones or sunken cheeks. The subject has repeatedly been seen wearing a brown plaid jacket and gold metal framed prescription glasses and often wears a stocking hat or baseball cap.
All of the robberies have taken place between noon and 4:30 PM. The robber simply enters the bank and shows a single teller a note or verbally demands money. As soon as the teller empties their drawer the subject takes the money and rapidly departs. Up to $1,000 in reward money is available for any information that leads to the arrest of the individual(s) responsible for the robberies. Anyone with information is asked to call the Albuquerque FBI Office at (505) 889-1300 (24 hours) or Albuquerque Police Crimestoppers at 843-STOP.
