Release June 26, 2007 |
|
The bandit was described by witnesses as a white male, approximately early 20’s, 6 foot tall, wearing a green shirt with a black long sleeve undershirt, black or dark grey pants, black baseball cap with unknown yellow logo, black Sketcher shoes with a red “S” logo on the side. As the bandit made his getaway from the financial institution, he was followed by witnesses where he was observed shedding his green shirt as he entered a black compact sedan (possibly a Subaru) which also bore a “ying-yang” window sticker on the back window. Witnesses discontinued their surveillance of the bandit’s getaway when he produced a handgun and pointed at the witnesses prior to his entering the getaway vehicle. An undetermined amount of cash was taken by the bandit. Today’s robbery was the second of a financial institution in the Santa Fe area during 2007. Anyone with information is asked to call the Albuquerque FBI Office at (505) 889-1300 (24 hours). Bank Robbery surveillance photographs were not available at the time of this press release. # |
